The Virgin London Marathon is now one of the largest charity sporting events in the world. A huge congratulations to Mathew Tyrrell, Emma Benson, Colin Smith, John McMullen, Barry Lewis and Eddie Cook, who together have raised over £11,000.00 with donations still rolling in!

If you are interested in joining 'Team PiA' for the 2011 London Marathon, please click here to download a registration form, or contact Helen on 020 7976 7640 or helen@pia.org.uk for more information.

In 2009 we had a team of 25 runners take part in the Adidas Women’s 5k challenge. We all had a lot of fun and following on from this success we would like to double our numbers to 50 for the 2010 on Sunday 5th September! Please join us and for all you men out there, please ask your wives, daughters, sisters, friends and colleagues to support PiA and help raise funds and awareness for all those living with primary immunodeficiencies. For more information on how to enter, please click here.

If you would like to organise your own fundraising event but you are stuck for ideas, please click here for the PiA Alphabet of Fundraising guide. Alternatively contact Helen on 020 7976 7640 or helen@pia.org.uk for a fundraising pack.

The PiA is the only registered charity dedicated to supporting and helping children and adults with Primary Immunodeficiencies in the UK. We provide information for the newly diagnosed and the not so newly diagnosed in the form of newsletters, leaflets and an informative website. Through patient days and other PiA events, you will have the opportunity to meet up with others who have similar rare conditions to your own, and share personal experiences.

We also organise holiday breaks for children and young people with primary immunodeficiencies, giving them the chance to get away and have fun. We can help you with information packs for children with primary immunodeficiencies who are starting school or college, and we can advise you on travel insurance and holiday planning.

We do not charge for membership and it’s easy to join; simply download the membership form here, and send it to joinup@pia.org.uk or fax it to 020 7976 7641. You can also post it to:
